Who are those instagrammers?

Who are those skinny, long blonde haired, macaroon eating women, who do nothing for a living but look like a carefree goddess? The ones with more than100k followers; the ones who explore the pacific northwest, who eat granola for breakfast every morning, and always either live on the beach, or abroad. Are they bloggers? Are they models? All I know is this: their Instagram make mine look like garbage.

I've tried countless times, endeavoring to take photographs like this, while trying to make my Instagram feed captivating. But the bottom line is this... most people don't live like that. If your Instagram perfectly portrays your life, then I tip my hat to you. Anyone's Instagram could make one's life appear blissful and perfect. For some, it's slightly true. I am a firm believer in chasing and achieving what you want from life. My aspiration one day is to move to Bali, teach yoga, while working as a travel journalist. Will my Instagram feed portray that life as perfect if I achieve it? Maybe, but regardless of how it appears, we should not copy or covet  what appears to be perfect. But hey let's be realistic, we do it all the time. Today in fact, I caught myself drooling over this fabulous instagrammer's perfect Parisian life: guilty as charged. However, I find most of my inspiration from scrolling down my Instagram or Pinterest feed: so thanks to those who contribute to my inspiration.

The truth in itself is that lots of people desire their life to be golden and perfect; that's just how we are. So to those tan, blonde, macaroon eating babes out there, thanks for keeping my standards and aspirations motivational and attainable.
